when a gal like me can no
longer indulge in 2 hours
of cinematic splendor without
being bombarded by leftist
propaganda?
I did not appreciate the
social commentary on
racism that laced the fabric
that lined the film we have come
to know as Underworld.
Myself, like many others, had their date
pay a good chunk of money in hopes
of viewing decent fight scenes with the
possibility of witnessing a couple
of vamps fuck, but instead we were
subjected to nothing but dialogue about slaves,
segregation, and interracial relationships
leading to mulatto babies.
To make matters worse, light
was not shed on the soundtrack
that a certain Mr. Danny Lohner
so tirelessly pieced together
until after the film was over,
thus delaying the vital dosage
of Maynard that i require in
order to cling on to life
for yet another sun to arise.
As to not be misunderstood,
i would like to clarify that i
did in fact enjoy the movie,
but when i want to watch something
that contains such delicate subject
matter, i'll take it upon my own
accord to run over to Hollywood Video
and rent the entire installment of
Roots.

post script = i'd still rather be a vampire,
